Environmental Permits
The "Polluter Pays" principle has long been enshrined in UK law; you can release emissions to the environment, provided they remain within prescribed limits and, of course, you pay for the privilege.
In the first half of this decade, Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) permits replaced the earlier Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) Authorisations, and Remsol positioned itself to help businesses through the complex process of applying for the new permits.
Now, and with the pace of change unabated, PPC has been swept aside to make way for the new Environmental Permitting regime - which also replaces the Waste Management Licensing Regulations 1994.
Again, having invested heavily in keeping a watching brief on the regulatory developments surrounding the new regime, Remsol is well placed to assist you if you now find yourself requiring an Environmental Permit for a new Installation.

Regulatory Impact Assessment
Worried about the potential impact on your operations of new environmental laws? Unsure what you can do to mitigate the downside of emerging new rules, whilst ensuring you remain compliant?
Remsol can help.
We can conduct an in depth review of your business, establishing a baseline of current environmental performance and compliance and then, by reference to anticipated new laws and the changes they are expected to impose, we will evaulate any gaps in future compliance.
