Improving the environment through technology
As well as helping our clients to reduce their environmental impact through improved resource useage and by creating less waste, we also recognise that technology must play a part in shaping environmental protection and enhancement in the future.
To this end, we are actively involved in the development of a range of novel new environmental technologies.
These include a process designed to "treat" pharmaceutical waste at the clients' premises, creating fewer transport journeys and reducing dependence on incineration by around 80%. We're also in the throes of creating a new process for recycling road surfacing.
As well as these developments, Remsol is also well positioned to deploy end-of-pipe technologies on its' client sites in pursuit of their environmental improvement goals. With our Design, Build, Operate and Maintain (DBOM) agreements, we can install state of the art process technology on your site to treat waste at source, reduce emissions to atmosphere or even convert your wastes into useful products or energy sources for you.
For instance, we're currently working with one client to turn an expensive wastestream into a fuel that can be burned on site (with zero emissions) to raise steam for their manufacturing activities. In another case, we're seeking ways to separate water from an emulsified wastestream to enable the client to use this as process water in the manufacture of another product.
If you have a problem that you feel could be solved with the right environmental technology, or if you are a supplier of environmental technologies that you feel Remsol and its clients could benefit from, please contact us.
