Remsol customers benefit from average 50% recycling rate

In a recent, internal performance study, it was found that Remsol helps its customers to achieve an average 50% recycling rate.
This represents a fantastic achievement, given that this takes into account the total quantity (expressed in tonnes) of commercial and industrial waste under Remsol management and includes WEEE, cardboard and paper, plastics, metals, oils and chemicals and more.
Moreover, when compiling the statistics, no adjustment was made for the fact that many wastes under Remsol control are non-recyclable - such as reject medicines. When adjusted to remove this distortion, the percentage of waste with recyclable potential that is actually recovered increases to lift the average significantly.
One of Remsol's clients in the oil and gas sector has been helped to achieve an 85% recycling rate overall - with results in three separate months in 2009 peaking at well over 92%. This, in particular, highlights Remsol's green credentials when it comes helping businesses to divert waste away from landfill and other final disposal options in favour of recycling.
